Where we work

Web Agency and IT Development in Leuven

Espero-Soft builds websites, mobile apps and business software for Leuven companies. Our office is in Brussels, 25 minutes away by train, and we work in Dutch.

Our offices: Brussels (Molenbeek-Saint-Jean) and Lille. We travel to you for scoping and key project milestones.

The local business fabric

Few cities of this size have a technology profile as sharp as Leuven's. KU Leuven and imec sustain a deeptech ecosystem — semiconductors, sensors, medical technology, AI — that spreads physically across the Arenberg Science Park in Heverlee, the Haasrode Researchpark and the bio-incubators. The companies there rarely need a conventional online shop; they need a credible English-language shop window, a careers page that can actually convince engineers, and sometimes a dashboard that makes their research data usable. Alongside that, Leuven remains an ordinary Flemish market town, with AB InBev as its large employer, dense hospitality around the Oude Markt and the Vaartkom, and hundreds of independent traders. Those two audiences come to us with completely different questions.

How we work here

We are not based in Leuven — our only Belgian office is in Brussels (Rue de la Colonne 1A, 1080 Molenbeek-Saint-Jean). In practice that gets in the way very little: Leuven is roughly 25 minutes by train, so an on-site meeting costs an hour of diary. We start with a free scoping session at your premises, then work in short phases, keeping the follow-up remote with one named contact. When we work for a technical company we assume you know the technology better than we do: our job is to translate it into something a customer or a candidate understands. For a shop or a practice it is the reverse — we take on all the technical side and you never have to think about it.

Frequently asked questions

We are a spin-off at the Arenberg Science Park. Do you work in English too?

Yes. For deeptech companies we often build an English-first site with Dutch alongside, a blog for publications and press releases, and a proper careers page. That fits the €59/month plan on a 24-month term. Piping in your own research data or building a dashboard is custom work, which starts at €99/month over 12 months or €79/month over 24; the free quote, back within 24 hours, prices whatever sits on top of that, depending on the data involved.

Leuven is full of software engineers. Why hire you?

Because we do not bill by the hour but through clear fixed-price plans, and because we carry the whole thing — hosting, domain name, maintenance and security included — rather than handing you a repository. For an SME or a spin-off that does not want to hire an IT manager, that is the difference.

How does follow-up work if you are in Brussels?

Leuven is about 25 minutes from Brussels by train. We come for the kick-off, for the decisions that shape the project and for delivery, with no travel charges. In between you deal with one named contact, in Dutch, and follow progress online.
