Our steps

How we hire for our tech jobs

Our tech jobs follow a short and transparent process in four steps for our permanent developer roles.

Phone interview

A first 15-minute call to get to know each other, talk about your background and answer your questions about the role.

Take-home technical exercise

A test of 2 to 4 hours depending on the role, close to our real projects, that you complete from home.

Technical interview

One hour to discuss your exercise, your technical choices and the way you work in a team.

Team meeting and offer

You meet the team, then we make you an offer if the fit feels right on both sides.

Day to day

Working at Espero-Soft

Our developers work on varied projects for Belgian and international clients: showcase websites, web platforms, mobile apps and business software. They use modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript.

Depending on the role, you can work remotely up to four days a week. You also get a training and certification budget, along with high-end work equipment.

Our tech jobs also include internships of 3 to 6 months, with an allowance, travel costs covered and a possible job offer at the end. We believe in training the next generation of developers.

The profiles we are looking for

  • Full-stack developers: React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL or MongoDB databases.
  • Front-end developers: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and good UX practices.
  • Web development interns: basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript, curiosity and a desire to learn.
  • For every role: team spirit, clear communication and a taste for clean code.

Our experienced developers support interns on real client projects, with a dedicated mentor and weekly check-ins.
