Where we work

Web Agency and IT Development in East Flanders

Espero-Soft works with companies in Ghent, Sint-Niklaas, Aalst and Dendermonde on websites, online shops, apps and business software. Delivered in Dutch, with travel from Brussels for the meetings that matter.

Our offices: Brussels (Molenbeek-Saint-Jean) and Lille. We travel to you for scoping and key project milestones.

The local business fabric

East Flanders runs on two engines that have little to do with each other. To the north-east lies the Waasland: the Waasland port area, the logistics zone around Sint-Niklaas and the E17 corridor form one of the densest warehousing and distribution belts in the country, full of hauliers, warehousing operators and packaging firms. Ghent is something else entirely: the university, VIB and the biotech campus in Zwijnaarde have built a cluster of life sciences, plant biotechnology and medtech, flanked by the North Sea Port with steel, chemicals and car assembly. Further south, the Dender area around Aalst and Dendermonde remains a classic SME fabric of food, construction and retail. A biotech scale-up and a haulier from Beveren look unrelated, yet they ask us the same question: how do I get my internal processes out of email attachments.

How we work here

Espero-Soft has no branch in Ghent or the Waasland — our two offices are Brussels and Lille. We would rather say so plainly than rent an address to look local. Ghent is about an hour from our Brussels office and Aalst half an hour, so we come out for the first meeting, the scoping workshop and the pre-launch demo. The rest of the project runs remotely but tightly framed: one point of contact, a shared plan, a weekly check-in and a staging environment where you see every change. For a logistics client this usually starts with a portal or an integration; for a research-driven company, with a bilingual site that looks technically credible to an international investor.

We also work with companies in the surrounding municipalities.

Frequently asked questions

Can you build a multilingual site for a Ghent biotech or technology company?

Yes. For research-driven companies we usually run Dutch and English side by side, with a correct hreflang structure and an admin area where your team manages publications, vacancies and press releases. The multilingual plan with advanced SEO is €79/month, or €59/month on a twenty-four-month commitment. Beyond that — a portal, a platform, a link into your lab systems — you move into custom work, which starts from €99/month, or from €79/month over twenty-four months, with the free 24-hour quote giving the exact figure.

Do you have an office in Ghent or Sint-Niklaas?

No. Espero-Soft has two offices: Brussels (Rue de la Colonne 1A, 1080 Molenbeek-Saint-Jean) and Lille. No East Flanders branch, and we will not open a fictitious address to suggest otherwise. Ghent is an hour away, so travelling there is straightforward.

We are a haulier in the Waasland. What can you actually do for us?

Beyond the website, the biggest gain is usually a customer portal or an integration between planning, invoicing and accounting so data stops being retyped. That is custom work, and custom work now has a clear floor: €99/month, or €79/month if you commit for twenty-four months. We review your processes during a free on-site scoping session and price the portal precisely in a quote sent within 24 hours.
